☀️🏡 Staycation Station: Enjoying Home Sweet Home
Summer is the perfect time to slow down and enjoy everything your local community has to offer. The best part? You don’t have to travel far – or at all – to create lasting memories. A staycation is a fun and affordable way to celebrate summer while discovering hidden gems in the place you call home sweet home. Whether you’re looking for a physical challenge, relaxation, or quality time with loved ones, there’s something for everyone:
🌳Visit a local park you’ve never explored and enjoy a new outdoor adventure with the kids.
🍔 Host a backyard BBQ or picnic and gather family, friends, or neighbors for some summer fun.
🍽️ Try a new restaurant in town and support a local business while treating yourself to something different.
🌅 Enjoy a sunset walk and take in the beauty of the season.
🎪 Attend a community event or farmers market to connect with your neighbors and discover new local favorites.
📵 Have a screen-free evening with family or friends and make time for meaningful conversations and memories.
No matter how many items you check off, the goal is simple: relax, recharge, and enjoy the moments that make summer special. We hope this newsletter provides inspiration, helpful tips, and a few new ideas to help you make the most of your staycation season. Happy summer! ☀️🌴🏡

❚ Ask a Benefits Specialist
Q: What’s the difference between Open Enrollment and a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) for major medical insurance?
A: Open Enrollment is the annual period when anyone can enroll in or change their major medical health insurance. For most states, it runs from November 1 through January 15.
A Special Enrollment Period (SEP) allows you to enroll or make changes outside of Open Enrollment if you experience a qualifying life event, such as:
- Losing other health coverage
- Getting married or divorced
- Having or adopting a child
- Certain moves or household changes
Our team at REALTORS® Insurance Place can help determine your eligibility for an SEP and review your options. Want to learn more?
